You find yourself in your dismal apartment, after having spent the last 3 months in an asylum.  The death of your girlfriend, Tess, is still weighing heavily on your mind.  You need to find out the truth about what really happened to her that night, and who murdered her. 

 

Explore the room.  Search the mattress to find your KEYS.  Examine KEYS in your Inventory to learn that there’s a mini torch attached to the KEYS.  Now leave the room.

LOST STREET

 

This street is as dismal as your apartment.  Look at the poster on the right.  Look at the billboard above you, to learn the address of a local shop that sells WME consoles.  Enter the Bar on the left. 

 

 

 

 

HALUZION BAR

 

Explore the Bar.  Talk to the Barman and work through all the dialogue.  Walk up into the bathroom. 

 

In the bathroom, talk to Doc Styx, and work through all the dialogue.  Doc Styx is the local drug dealer, but he won’t help you out unless you pay him.  Examine the toilet bowl to see something flash in there - but you’re not going to stick your hand in to find out what it is!  Pick up the SYRINGE that’s lying on the floor in front of the toilet bowl.  Leave the bathroom. 

 

Leave the Bar. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

Use your car, to leave Lost Street.

Drive to the WME Shop. 

 

 

 

 

WME SHOP

 

Talk to the Policeman outside the shop and work through all the dialogue.  Look at the broken window in the shop.  You’re not gonna get into that shop any time soon!  Search the pile of junk in the background, and you find a RUBBER GLOVE and a PIECE OF RUSTY WIRE.  Use your car again.

LOST STREET

 

Talk to Winn Benzzen and work through all the dialogue.  You learn where Tess, your girlfriend, is buried.  Enter the Bar on the left. 

 

 

 

 

HALUZION BAR

 

Talk to the Barman, and use the following dialogue options. 

 

 

        -       A piece of info.

        -       Do you know a guy called Steep?

        -       Can’t think of anything right now.

        -       I’ve had enough.  See ya.

 

 

Walk up into the bathroom. 

 

Use RUBBER GLOVE with the toilet bowl, to find a KNIFE.  Use KNIFE with the PIECE OF RUSTY WIRE to scrape the rust off.  You are left with a PIECE OF WIRE.  Leave the bathroom. 

 

Leave the Bar.

Talk to the Policeman, using the following dialogue options.

CEMETERY

 

Look at Tess’s tombstone.  Look at the dog.  Talk to the Gravedigger and work through all the dialogue.  He knows something about the recent murders of several young women, and he’ll sell you that information for £5,000.  Where are you gonna find that sort of money?  Try to open the door on the right, but it’s locked.  You can’t do anything else here at the moment, so use your car to leave the Cemetery.

Enter the bar on the left. 

 

 

 

 

HALUZION BAR

 

Talk to Akko and work through all the dialogue with her.  You learn that Akko is supposed to be meeting her friend Ann, but Ann hasn’t shown up.  You decide to go and look for her.  Leave the Bar.

Drive to the bridge at the river bank. 

 

 

 

 

BRIDGE AT THE RIVER BANK

 

Search the corpse under the bridge.  You find an ID in her pocket, which confirms that this is Ann.  Who is committing all these horrendous murders?  Examine the railing, and you get a METAL ROD.  There’s nothing else you can do here, so use your car to leave the area.

Enter the bar on the left.

Talk to Akko, and use the following dialogue option. 

 

 

        -       I’m sorry, but Ann is dead. 

 

 

Akko leave the Bar.  You can’t do anything else here, so you should also leave the Bar.

Drive to the WME Shop. 

 

 

 

 

WME SHOP

 

Talk to the Policeman, and use the following dialogue option. 

 

 

        -       The collector of the dead eyes strikes again!

 

 

The Policeman goes to check the dead woman under the bridge, leaving you to guard the broken window of the shop.  This is your chance.  Search the broken window to get the CAMERA.  Now use your car to leave the area.

Drive to the Cemetery. 

 

 

 

 

CEMETERY

 

Look in the freshly-dug grave - it’s very dark in there.  Use your KEYS (remember, there’s a mini torch attached to the keys) with the grave to find a BRASS KEY.  Try to use BRASS KEY to open the door of the crypt, but the key doesn’t fit the lock.  Damn!  Okay, use the METAL ROD on the door to pry it open.  Success!  Now enter the crypt. 

 

Inside the crypt, chat to Gravedigger Steep.  He gloats about what he’s doing, because you don’t have any proof.  No proof, eh?  We’ll see about that!  Use CAMERA with the dead body of the woman to take a photo of what the Gravedigger is doing.  You blackmail him with the photo, and he tells you that Father Kain is involved with the murders.  Anger takes over, and you kill Gravedigger Steep, hiding his body in the coffin, along with the dead young woman.  Leave the crypt. 

 

Use your car again.

Drive to the Church. 

 

 

 

 

CHURCH

 

Try to talk to Father Kain, but he just preaches that the city is full of sin.  Look at the coin box near the entrance of the church.  It’s hard to spot, but it’s there.  Use BRASS KEY with the coin box to open the padlock and take the COINS.  When you’re ready, leave the church.

Enter the Bar on the left. 

 

 

 

 

HALUZION BAR

 

Insert COINS into the Slot Machine.  You hit the jackpot, and win a lot of MONEY.  200 Eurodollars, to be exact!  Walk up into the bathroom. 

 

Give MONEY to Doc Styx.  He gives you MORFETHAMIN in return.  Leave the bathroom. 

 

Leave the Bar. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

Give MORFETHAMIN to Winn Benzzen.  To show his gratitude, he agrees to break open the electronic lock on the warehouse door opposite the Bar.  After he does so, enter the warehouse on the right. 

 

 

 

 

WAREHOUSE

 

Look at the crates.  Look at the control panel for the Lift. 

 

In the close-up, look at the panel cover to see that it is attached by screws.  Use KNIFE on the panel cover to unscrew it.  Look carefully underneath the panel cover to find a fuse.  Look at the fuse to see that it’s burnt.  Use your PIECE OF WIRE with the burnt out fuse, to short-circuit the fuse, and bring the panel back to life.  It’s now functional, but you don’t know what code to enter.  Leave the control panel for now. 

 

Leave the warehouse.

Return home, to Apartment C4. 

 

 

 

 

APARTMENT C4

 

In your Inventory, combine MORFETHAMIN with the SYRINGE, then choose ‘Yes’ to inject some into yourself.  After the effects have worn off, lie down on the mattress, and go to sleep. 

 

You start dreaming.  Talk to Ellizion, who tells you a bit about the World Of The Shadows. 

 

You wake up the next morning.  Leave the apartment.

Tess’s ghost is here, so talk to Tess.  Tess tells you that she’s cold, and lost… and she asks you to help her.  She says that the answer has something to do with numbers… then she disappears.  Use your car again.

Drive back to your home - Apartment C4. 

 

 

 

 

APARTMENT C4

 

Look at graffiti on the wall - Omnia Mors Aequat.  Code that be a clue to the control panel in the warehouse?  Maybe the letters in the words are important?  You automatically write down the number of letters in each word.  Leave the apartment.

Drive to Lost Street. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

Enter the warehouse on the right. 

 

 

 

 

WAREHOUSE

 

Look at the control panel next to the Lift door. 

 

In the close-up, use NOTEPAD with the keypad to enter the code 546.  You can hear the Lift moving towards you.  Exit the close-up. 

 

Enter the Lift. 

 

You have a hallucination.  Look at the red reactor device.  Chat to the ghost of Alex Kain, who tells you that his brother, Father Kain, is responsible for murdering all those young women.  Alex had been trying to stop the murders, with the use of his experimental reactor, but something went wrong, and now he’s unable to shut the reactor off.  There is a disc that contains all his research, but Father Kain stole the disc.  Alex asks you to find the disc, and bring it back to him.  When you’re ready, use the Lift on the right to travel back up to the warehouse. 

 

Leave the warehouse. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

Use your car.

Drive to the church. 

 

 

 

 

CHURCH

 

Chat to Father Kain, and challenge him about the murders.  He attacks you with his knife, but misses.  You’re furious that he murdered your beloved Tess, so attack him, and you succeed in killing him.  You search his body, and find ALEX’S DISC.  Leave the church.

Drive to Lost Street. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

Enter the warehouse on the right. 

 

 

 

 

WAREHOUSE

 

Use the Lift, and ride down to the basement. 

 

Give ALEX’S DISC to Alex, who will use it to turn the reactor off.  It will only take a few hours.  Use the Lift on the right to ride back up to the warehouse. 

 

Leave the warehouse. 

 

 

 

 

LOST STREET

 

You’re exhausted!  Use your car.

Drive back to your home - Apartment C4. 

 

 

 

 

APARTMENT C4

 

Lie down on the mattress and go to sleep.  You start dreaming again. 

 

Chat to Ellizion, who agrees to help Tess travel on to the Otherworld and find peace at last.  But you can’t be with her, since you belong to another world. 

 

You wake up, back in the asylum.  Had you ever really left?  Perhaps the whole thing had just been a dream, in order to help Tess?  Perhaps the reality is much worse?  Perhaps… in the next second… you will find death, and your misery will finally end… perhaps? 

 

 

 

 

The End!
