You awaken the next morning, after a peaceful night’s sleep. When you’re ready, leave your cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #2, and enter Fitzcarraldo’s cabin.
DOOR #2 - FITZCARRALDO’S CABIN
Fitzcarraldo asks after Aboubakar’s wellbeing, because he wants to discuss something. Nothing else you can do here for the moment, so just leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Climb up the stairs, to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Rasputin has gone. Talk to Villon, who is still locked in the iron bell, and work through the dialogue. Villon has calmed down now, and wants to be released from the bell. Climb up the stairs, to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right, to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Listen to the Captain talking to Odysseus. After the Captain leaves, talk to Odysseus, and work through the dialogue. Odysseus will help you look for the Eye Of The Kraken… if you find him a champion cockroach to challenge his own cockroach that he’s been training for months. It seems you have no choice, you have to agree. When you’re ready, climb up the stairs on the left, to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Enter through the door, into the restaurant.
RESTAURANT
Talk to Rasputin and work through the dialogue. Use DICE on Rasputin, and challenge him to a dice game. Keep challenging him, until he refuses to play anymore. You’ve won a big pile of Canadian money at this point - enough money to pay Zog to spy on the cannon this evening. Talk to Zog. Search the pot of shrimps to find a COCKROACH. Now leave the restaurant.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb down the stairs up to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Enter the door, into the Captain’s cabin.
CAPTAIN’S CABIN
Talk to the Captain and work through all the dialogue. Try to open the pigeon cage - the Captain will give you some pigeon guano, which goes straight into your TEAPOT. When you’re ready, leave the cabin.
STORE ROOM
Climb down the stairs to the corridor.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #9, and enter Villon’s cabin.
DOOR #9 - VILLON’S CABIN
Look at the wooden stool. Use CANNONBALL on the wooden stool to smash it into WOODEN BOARDS, then pick up the WOODEN BOARDS. You automatically take your CANNONBALL back, as well. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #8, and enter Rasputin’s cabin.
DOOR #8 - RASPUTIN’S CABIN
It’s time to create the Power Potion For Cockroaches, since you have all the ingredients now. You already have pigeon guano in your TEAPOT. Now add WINE, CAMEMBERT CHEESE, and GRASS to the TEAPOT. Pour the contents of the TEAPOT into the still. Place WOODEN BOARDS onto the still. You still need some water for the still, so let‘s go and get some. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Climb up the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Enter through door, into Captain’s cabin.
CAPTAIN’S CABIN
Use TEAPOT with the bathtub to get some water. Leave the cabin.
STORE ROOM
Climb down stairs to the corridor.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #8, and enter Rasputin’s cabin.
DOOR #8 - RASPUTIN’S CABIN
Poor water from the TEAPOT into the still. Now use the still. You automatically create The Ultimate Power Potion For Cockroaches, and then store it in your trusty TEAPOT. Use your COCKROACH with the Teapot, so he drinks the potion. You now have a DOPED COCKROACH. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Climb up stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb up stairs, up to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Talk to Odysseus and work through the dialogue. Show DOPED COCKROACH to Odysseus. Watch the cut scene as your DOPED COCKROACH challenges his cockroach to a race. Your cockroach wins, of course. Odysseus tells you that he suspects Olaf isn’t really a Viking. Go left, to the Back Bridge.

Time has jumped to the evening. Climb down the stairs to the Store Room.

Enter through the door, into the Captain’s Cabin.
CAPTAIN’S CABIN
The Captain is standing in his bathtub, steering the ship’s wheel. Talk to him and work through all the dialogue. Leave his cabin.
STORE ROOM
Climb down the stairs, to the corridor.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #3, and enter Ingrid’s cabin.
DOOR #3 - INGRID’S CABIN
Ingrid isn’t in her cabin right now, so you can have a look around. Look at the piano. Look at candlestick. Look at painting on the wall. Look at scenery, and search the scenery - you don’t find anything. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #4, and enter Olaf’s cabin.
DOOR #4 - OLAF’S CABIN
Talk to Olaf and talk to him about Odysseus. Leave his cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #10 - Vlad’s cabin. He’s not happy about being nailed inside his cabin! But the Captain has done this to keep everyone else safe, so that Vlad (suspected vampire) can’t attack anyone else. Climb up the stairs, to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb up stairs to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Go through door, into the restaurant.
RESTAURANT
Odysseus is on duty as a Server now. Talk to him if you like, but he doesn‘t have much to say at the moment. Take GLASS OF WINE from the table. Talk to Ingrid and ask about the painting. Leave the restaurant.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb up the stairs to the Poop Deck.
POOP DECK
Talk to Zog, and ask about the bribe. You automatically pay him what you agreed, and he agrees to keep an eye on the cannon for you. Leave the Poop Deck.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right, to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Place your remaining SQUID STATUETTE inside the cannon, then go left to the Back Bridge.

You wake up, determined to find the Eye Of The Kraken today. Leave your cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #2, Fitzcarraldo’s cabin. Listen to Door #2 - you hear a string of Irish swear words! Now enter Door #5 - Zog’s cabin.
DOOR #5 - ZOG’S CABIN
Uh-oh… there’s another vamp-victim lying on the bunk. But if there’s another victim… and Vlad’s been locked up all night… that means Vlad can’t be the attacker! You’re back to square one! As well as that, this new victim is wearing a red jumper. This is the Zog brother that was supposed to be keeping an eye on the cannon for you, to see who claimed the SQUID STATUETTE. When you’re ready, leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #6, and enter Aboubakar’s cabin.
DOOR #6 - ABOUBAKAR’S CABIN
Aboubakar isn’t here. Look at DENTURE on the table - it looks very much like fake vampire teeth. Take DENTURE, then leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #9, and enter Villon’s cabin.
DOOR #9 - VILLON’S CABIN
What’s Opheilia doing here? Talk to her and work through all the dialogue. Now leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #10 - Vlad’s cabin. No reply. Listen to Door #10. You don’t hear anything. Is Vlad still in there? There’s no way to know right now, since the door is still nailed shut. Climb up stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Look at the iron bell - Villon is still locked in here. Knock on the door to the Captain’s cabin, but there’s no reply. Listen to the door, and you hear snoring. The Captain is in there, but he is still sleeping. Oh well, hopefully he’ll wake up soon, and release Villon from the iron bell. In the mean time, let’s go and check on the cannon. Climb up stairs to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
You automatically check the cannon… but the SQUID STATUETTE has gone. Damn! Talk to Odysseus. He gives you a MAGIC RING, which makes people tell the truth. Unfortunately, he tricked you, and by questioning him while wearing the MAGIC RING, you turn into a pig! In order to change back to normal, you have to eat a sausage. Head right to the Fore Section.
FORE SECTION
Look at the ship’s figurehead below you. You have many things in common with the pig figurehead. Go left, back to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Head left to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb down the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb down the stairs to the corridor.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #9 - Villon’s cabin. Ophelia lets you into the cabin.
DOOR #9 - VILLON’S CABIN
Ophelia receipts Villon’s strange poem about the Kraken to you. Then she feeds you a sausage. That’s just what you needed! You transform back to normal! That is SUCH a relief! Talk to Ophelia and work through all the dialogue. Leave the cabin.

Climb up the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb stairs to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Enter through door, into the restaurant.
RESTAURANT
Talk to Zog and work through all the dialogue. Give him the MAGIC RING - he refuses to put it on, because he doesn’t want the ring to get stuck on his finger. Search the bowl of salad, and find a DEHYDRATED MINOTAUR. Talk to Rasputin and work through the dialogue. Try to give him the MAGIC RING, but he won’t wear it, for fear that women will think he’s married. When you’re ready, leave the restaurant.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb up the stairs to the Poop Deck.
POOP DECK
Aboubakar is here, resting in one of the sun loungers. Talk to him and work through all the dialogue. Show the VAMP-DENTURE to him, and he admits that he’s the one that’s vamping everyone. He uses it to get blood, so he can make Love Potions. So poor Vlad really is innocent! He’s been locked up in his cabin unjustly. Try to give him the MAGIC RING, but he’s too suspicious. Leave the Poop Deck.

Talk to Ingrid and work through all the dialogue. Talk to Fitzcarraldo and work through all the dialogue. Show the DEHYDRATED MINOTAUR to Fitzcarraldo, who suggests you re-hydrate it in the Captain’s bath tub. Talk to Rasputin and work through the dialogue. Talk to Ophelia and work through the dialogue. Now leave the restaurant.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right, to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Talk to Odysseus, and curse him. Now head left, to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb down the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Villon is still locked up in the iron bell. Talk to the iron bell, and ask Villon about the translation. Now enter through the door, into the Captain’s cabin.
CAPTAIN’S CABIN
The Captain has finally received a translation for the runes in Olaf’s cabin - it’s not an ancient Greenlander joke, like Olaf claimed it was! It’s something more sinister. Talk to the Captain and work through the dialogue. You blame Odysseus for the vampire attacks. Now place the DEHYDRATED MINOTAUR into the bath tub to re-hydrate it. It becomes a full-size Minotaur. Leave the cabin.
STORE ROOM
Look at the iron bell - Villon has finally been released. Climb up stairs to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
You automatically use the BINOCULARS to see Odysseus floating on a raft, out at sea. Head left to the Back Bridge.

Climb down stairs to the Store Room.

Climb down stairs to the corridor.

Knock on Door #4, and enter Olaf’s cabin.
DOOR #4 - OLAF’S CABIN
Talk to Olaf, and ask him about Runes. He admits that he’s not really a Viking. He’s really a Bulgarian revolutionist. Leave his cabin.

It’s the evening. Knock on Door #6 and enter Aboubakar’s cabin.
DOOR #6 - ABOUBAKAR’S CABIN
Aboubakar is feeling guilty about ruining your investigation with his vamp-denture antics. He tells you that he has the power to answer one question, and suggests you use this question to find out who stole the Eye Of The Kraken. The only problem, is that Aboubakar needs a sea anemone in order to perform the ancient ritual that allows him to answer the question. He suggests that you use the iron bell to acquire a sea anemone. Now talk to Aboubakar and work through all the dialogue. When conversation is over, leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #10, and enter Vlad’s cabin.
DOOR #10 - VLAD’S CABIN
Look at Vlad’s coffin - he has pictures of naked necks on the lid of his coffin. Look at the dead rats on the floor. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Notice the trapdoor outside Vlad’s door at the end of the corridor. Open the trapdoor, and enter the Neo-Botchist Lair.
NEO-BOTCHIST LAIR
Talk to the Neo-Botchists and work through all the dialogue. When conversation is over, leave the lair.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #2, and enter Fitzcarraldo’s cabin.
DOOR #2 - FITZCARRALDO’S CABIN
Talk to Fitzcarraldo and work through all the dialogue. Leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Climb up the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Remember, you have to use the iron bell here, to enter the sea and find a sea anemone. But it’s too heavy for you to lift. Use your DOPED COCKROACH with the iron bell, to transport it to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Detach the anchors from the side of the ship, to stop the ship from moving. Now try to use the iron bell, only to realise that you need some help. Head left to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Climb down the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb down the stairs to the corridor.
CORRIDOR
Knock on Door #6, and enter Aboubakar’s cabin.
DOOR #6 - ABOUBAKAR’S CABIN
You automatically talk to Aboubakar, and he agrees to help you get the iron bell into the water. You both return to the Front Deck.
FRONT DECK
Watch the cut scene with the mysterious Vlad. Now you automatically use the iron bell to enter the water.
UNDERWATER
Notice the moray eels in their holes. Talk to the eel on the left and work through the dialogue. Talk to the middle eel and work through the dialogue. Lastly, talk to the eel on the right - she won’t answer you because she has a sea anemone in her mouth. Talk to her again, and flatter her. Your flattery works, and she lets go of the sea anemone in order to sing. The sea anemone floats past the iron bell, and you grab it. Then you return to the surface.
FRONT DECK
You automatically give the sea anemone to Aboubakar, who returns to his cabin to prepare for the ritual. You automatically return to your cabin, and sleep for the night.

Use PASS KEY on Door #6, and enter Aboubakar’s cabin.
DOOR #6 - ABOUBAKAR’S CABIN
Watch the cut scene as Aboubakar performs the ritual. It turns out that Olaf the Viking and Rasputin the Monk are the culprits behind the Eye Of The Kraken theft. Currently, the Eye Of The Kraken is hidden in the middle of the earth… which is rather tricky, conserving you are on a ship in the middle of the sea. You automatically leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Use PASS KEY on Door #4, and enter Olaf’s cabin.
DOOR #4 - OLAF’S CABIN
Look at the globe. Could this be where the Eye Of The Kraken is hidden? You notice some strange holes in the globe. Unfortunately, you can’t see any way to open the globe. Look at the SQUID STATUETTE on the floor, and pick up the SQUID STATUETTE. Now use SQUID STATUETTE with the globe. Success! The globe opens! But… it’s empty. The Eye Of The Kraken is not here. Olaf arrives, and tells you that he’s hidden Eye Of The Kraken somewhere else, until the ship docks. You automatically leave the cabin.
CORRIDOR
Unveil the carpet in front of Door #10, Vlad’s cabin, to reveal the trapdoor. Open the trapdoor and enter the Neo-Botchist Lair.
NEO-BOTCHIST LAIR
Talk to the Neo-Botchists and work through all the dialogue. When conversation is over, leave the lair.
CORRIDOR
Climb up the stairs to the Store Room.
STORE ROOM
Climb up the stairs to the Back Bridge.
BACK BRIDGE
Head right to the Front Bridge.
FRONT BRIDGE
Watch the final cut scenes to end the game.
The game ends on a cliff-hanger, but hopefully a sequel will be made.
